Bauer Pottery, in the company's 53 years in California,
created some of the most memorable and well loved pottery produced.
The success of red clay flower pots and stoneware items enabled
the company to introduce stunning art pottery. In the 1930s, some
of the best lines of solid color dinnerware, such as plainware and
ring, were introduced. The bold colors and simple shapes were, and
still are, a welcome addition to countless homes. Bauer continued
through the early 60s, employing such well known designers as Fred
Johnson and Tracey Irwin.
